Basketball Game Preview: Houghton Gremlins vs. Iron Mountain Mountaineers

Houghton is 0-5 against Iron Mountain since February of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Houghton Gremlins will welcome the Iron Mountain Mountaineers at 6:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Meanwhile, Iron Mountain strolled past Negaunee with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 60-43. The victory continues a trend for the Mountaineers in their matchups with the Miners: they've now won six in a row.

Iron Mountain's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.2 points. As for Houghton, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
