League recap: Wake Forest rolls against Enloe

4A Conference 11 recap November 13, 2013

Wake Forest took down Enloe 45-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Bryce Love ran for 101 yards during the win.

Millbrook and Sanderson played the most contested game in 4A Conference 11 this week, with Millbrook eventually emerging with a 41-40 victory.

Evan Brabrand threw for 286 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Brabrand put up the best numbers through the air as Wakefield beat Leesville Road. Brabrand's favorite target this week was Jake Butler, who caught 6 passes for 79 yards.

The Wolverines' Brabrand and Josh Lowery have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Brabrand has thrown for 2,713 yards this season, while Lowery has 59 catches for 704 yards. The Cougars' Love leads the league in rushing yards with 1,646.

Kelton Whitehead of the Wakefield is only 28 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 146 carries Whitehead has accumulated 972 yard this year.

At the moment, the Pride are in fourth, while the Wildcats are in third.

The Eagles made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,405 from 10,592. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 45-13 victory over Enloe last week.
