Basketball Recap: Central Catholic Starts Season with Victory at Home

Central Catholic took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They blew past the Bowsher BlueRacers, posting a 92-32 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Fighting Irish, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bowsher's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Central Catholic will face off against Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowsher, they will square off against Westland at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bowsher is facing Westland at the right time seeing as Westland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
