On Thursday, Lipscomb Academy faced Father Ryan in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lipscomb Academy Mustangs received a blow as they fell 49-30 to the Father Ryan Irish. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lipscomb Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Father Ryan, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.
