Baseball Recap: Boyne Falls Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Boyne Falls was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Alanson Vikings, falling 8-2. The Loggers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 12-7.

Boyne Falls has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for Alanson, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.

Boyne Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alanson, they will challenge Mackinaw City at 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
