Softball Recap: Seneca Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lenape on Saturday, Seneca came back down to earth. The Golden Eagles lost 13-1 to the Paul VI Eagles on Monday. The Golden Eagles have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Paul VI, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5-1 record this season.

Seneca didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Camden Catholic on the 20th. As for Paul VI, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 24-0 win against Moorestown on the 20th.
