Recap: Bordentown Scotties vs. Burlington City Blue Devils
The Bordentown Scotties waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They walked away with a 63-52 win over Burlington City. That's another feather in the cap for Bordentown, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Bordentown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andrew DeCosta, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Eunmin Choi, who scored 15 points.
Bordentown has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Burlington City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Doane Academy the next time they take the court. Bordentown will host Doane Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Burlington City will host them at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
