The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Saint Mary's Hall in their matchups with St. Joseph Academy: they've now lost four in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Joseph Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lucas Cristiano, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Cristiano has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Oscar Balli, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Saint Mary's Hall has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-16 record this season. As for St. Joseph Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-14.
Saint Mary's Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Joseph Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Augustine at 5:30 p.m. Hopefully St. Joseph Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday.
