Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

While Heritage Christian's victory against UR Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles won by a set and slipped past the Lions 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matches in a row.

Heritage Christian was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (96-92), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 10-25, 16-25, 25-10, 25-22, 16-14.

The victory got Heritage Christian back to even at 4-4. As for UR Academy, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Heritage Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Victory Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on October 13. As for UR Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Providence Classical at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
