Soccer Game Preview: Pleasanton vs. Wimberley

Pleasanton hasn't had much luck against Wimberley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Pleasanton will challenge Wimberley. Pleasanton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Pleasanton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Cole by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Wimberley kept a clean sheet against Lago Vista on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Vikings. Considering Wimberley have won 16 contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Lago Vista with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lillian Sandoval (3), Dylan Watson, and Haley Lopez.

Wimberley is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-1-2 record this season. Pleasanton's win bumped their record up to 13-6-2.

Pleasanton might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Wimberley in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Pleasanton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
