Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Soddy Daisy). They were the clear victor by a 16-4 margin over the McMinn County Cherokees on Thursday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Cherokees recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Izzy Webb made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

In other batting news, Macie Diehl was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits.
