Basketball Game Preview: Indian Valley Braves vs. Claymont Mustangs

The Indian Valley Braves are taking a road trip to take on the Claymont Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Claymont took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Indian Valley, who comes in off a win.

Indian Valley took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Meadowbrook by a score of 52-45.

Meanwhile, Claymont played a tough match on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 58-17 defeat at the hands of Hiland. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 582nd, while the Hawks are ranked 64th).

Indian Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Claymont, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Everything went Indian Valley's way against Claymont in their previous meeting back in January, as Indian Valley made off with a 52-26 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Indian Valley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
