Basketball Recap: Starks Comes Up Short

Starks lost against Grand Lake back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Starks Panthers took a 42-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grand Lake Hornets.

Starks' defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Grand Lake, they moved to 12-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Starks won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against South Cameron at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grand Lake, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Basile at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
