Softball Recap: Bishop Blanchet Beats Garfield for Their Third Straight Victory

Bishop Blanchet had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Garfield Bulldogs on Friday, sneaking past 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bears have posted since March 27th.

Ava Schneider spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Fiona King, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
