Basketball Game Preview: Fellowship Christian Paladins vs. Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots

Fellowship Christian is 1-9 against Mount Pisgah Christian since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Fellowship Christian Paladins will challenge the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Fellowship Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Last Wednesday, Fellowship Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Galloway, but they still walked away with a 72-68 victory. That's two games straight that the Paladins have won by exactly four points.

Meanwhile, Mount Pisgah Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The game between them and St. Francis didn't end well, with Mount Pisgah Christian falling 74-56. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 486th, while the Knights are ranked 164th).

Fellowship Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-18.

Fellowship Christian was dealt a bruising 57-20 defeat at the hands of Mount Pisgah Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2022. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Fellowship Christian was down 34-5.
