Devine entered their tilt with Pearsall on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mavericks. The Warhorses / Arabians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mavericks, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Devine was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9, 25-8.

Devine got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kynedie Cruz out in front who had four aces and three digs. Those four aces gave Cruz a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Greeley Malone, who had four aces and three digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Devine was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Devine's record now sits at 19-15. As for Pearsall, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-24.

Devine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Floresville on the 3rd. As for Pearsall, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Somerset on the 3rd.
