Football Recap: Capital Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Middleton + How To Watch

Capital faced Middleton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Golden Eagles fell 27-20 to the Vikings. The Golden Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Brayden Dudley threw for 87 yards on ten of 17 attempts. Elliot Schrack was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards. On the ground, Zander Grow rushed for 107 yards and one TD on only 12 carries.

Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Middleton, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
