Recap: Astronaut War Eagles vs. Cocoa Tigers
The Astronaut War Eagles fell victim to the Cocoa Tigers''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Tigers 63-0. Astronaut has struggled against Cocoa recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Brady Hart, who threw for 132 yards and five touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Latrison Lane and his 101 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Cocoa's victory.
Astronaut's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Cocoa, their victory was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-1.
Astronaut will head out on the road to face off against Titusville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Titusville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Astronaut in Florida (Titusville is ranked 86th, while Astronaut is ranked 410th). As for Cocoa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palm Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Palm Bay will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
