If Firebaugh was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Laguna Hills on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Firebaugh Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buena Park Coyotes on Saturday. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Firebaugh was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22.

Firebaugh's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Buena Park, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
