Volleyball Recap: St. John's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

St. John entered their tilt with Lakeside on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dragons. The Fighting Herald have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-12.

Leading St. John to victory were Breelyn Graham and Katie Carney. Graham had five digs and three aces, while Carney had 12 digs.

They weren't the only good server: St. John was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

St. John's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lakeside, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

St. John didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Grand Valley on the 2nd. As for Lakeside, they are taking a road trip to challenge Brush at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
