Basketball Game Preview: Fairview Aggies vs. Brewer Patriots

The Fairview Aggies will challenge the Brewer Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Fairview will be strutting in after a victory while Brewer will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Fairview turned things around against Holly Pond on Monday. They came out on top against the Broncos by a score of 43-36.

Meanwhile, Brewer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-50 heartbreaker at the hands of Falkville.

Fairview will need focus on slowing down Khloe Grandstaff, one of several Brewer players who made an impact when they last played. She went 5 of 12 en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keylyn Stapler, who posted seven points.

Fairview's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-12. As for Brewer, their loss dropped their record down to 2-20.

Fairview strolled past Brewer when the teams last played back in February of 2022 by a score of 61-44. Will Fairview repeat their success, or does Brewer have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
