Football Game Preview: Lorain Titans vs. Shaker Heights Red Raiders

The Lorain Titans will head out on the road to square off against the Shaker Heights Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lorain has given up an average of 35.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lorain is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They lost 39-18 to Brunswick. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 497th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 242nd).

Meanwhile, Shaker Heights came up short against Euclid on Friday and fell 20-7.

Lorain's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Shaker Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-5.

Things could have been worse for Lorain, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 34-16 loss to Shaker Heights when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
