Softball Game Preview: Vardaman Rams vs. Eupora Eagles

Vardaman has won four straight games at home, while Eupora has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Rams will welcome the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Vardaman is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Vardaman's last matchup with Houston could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Rams lost 10-3 to the Hilltoppers. The Rams have struggled against the Hilltoppers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Adley Teasley made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyla Chandler, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Eupora earned a 6-2 victory over East Webster on Thursday.

Vardaman now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Eupora, their win bumped their record up to 23-2.
