Softball Recap: Ryan Beats North Garland for Their Third Straight Victory

Ryan entered their tilt with North Garland on Saturday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over North Garland. Considering Ryan has won three games by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Olivia Buettner and Britt Pace did most of the damage at the plate: Buettner scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Pace scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyndal Beamon, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.

Ryan hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in three consecutive matchups.

Ryan's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for North Garland, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Ryan and North Garland will both be playing Lindsay the next time they take the field. North Garland will head out to face Lindsay at 11:20 a.m. on Saturday, while Ryan will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
