Softball Recap: Middleton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Liberty Tech Magnet on Tuesday, Middleton came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 12-1 to the West Carroll War Eagles on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled against the War Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Middleton's record now sits at 3-8. As for West Carroll, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

Looking ahead, Middleton will be playing at home against Clarksburg at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for West Carroll, they will head out on the road to face off against McKenzie at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The War Eagles are facing the Rebels at the right time seeing as the Rebels are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
