Volleyball Recap: Lowndes' Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lowndes extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Kalli Ferguson. The Vikings walked away with a 2-0 win over the Houston County Bears on Saturday with plenty of help from Ferguson, who had 19 assists and three aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Lowndes never let Houston County on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-12.

Lowndes' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Houston County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Lowndes will head out on the road to take on Veterans at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Houston County, they will challenge Columbus on Thursday.
