The Everett Seagulls had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 67-49 win over Shorecrest. For Everett, this counts as revenge for the 58-50 loss Shorecrest walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Everett got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ty Bloomfield out in front who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah White, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Everett's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Shorecrest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4-1.
Everett will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountlake Terrace at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountlake Terrace is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Shorecrest, they will challenge Monroe at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Monroe's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
