After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Easton Area, Stroudsburg was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 30-15 win over the Pocono Mountain West Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Mountaineers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jack Mitchell was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 76 yards and a pair of TDs.

Despite the loss, Pocono Mountain West still got an impressive performance from Christian Stiehler, who picked up 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 38 yards.

Stroudsburg's record now sits at 3-4. As for Pocono Mountain West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.
