Basketball Recap: Chester Gets the Win

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Chester ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-51 victory over the Mid-Carolina Rebels. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cyclones have posted since November 28, 2023.

Chester's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Mid-Carolina, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chester will square off against Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mid-Carolina, they will challenge Eau Claire at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
