Soccer Recap: Northglenn Comes Up Short

Northglenn came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-0 to the Westminster Wolves. While losing is never fun, Northglenn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Westminster are ranked 31st).

Northglenn's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Westminster, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Northglenn will challenge rival Riverdale Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Westminster is set to take on their familiar foe Boulder at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
