Southwest faced Winter Park in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles won by a set and slipped past the Wildcats 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Southwest's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Winter Park, they moved to 8-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Southwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Freedom on the 5th. As for Winter Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Belen Jesuit on the 5th.
