Baseball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.94 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 10-3 to the Timber Creek Falcons. That makes it the first time this season the Trojans have let down their home crowd.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4-2. As for Timber Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

While Trinity had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
