The Astronaut War Eagles will challenge the Cocoa Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Astronaut is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
Astronaut is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Titusville get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the War Eagles, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Riley Miller was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ciara Vansky, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Daisy Mixson was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Cocoa got the win against Atlantic on Tuesday by a conclusive 7-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Like Astronaut, Cocoa also got a great game from a two-way player: Payton Hoffman. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Hoffman was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Cocoa got a massive performance out of Kindle Gold, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave Gold a new career-high. Auvionna Carlyle also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Cocoa lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Astronaut's record now sits at 13-6. As for Cocoa, their record is now 5-11.
Astronaut took their win against Cocoa when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 16-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the War Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
