Volleyball Recap: Classical Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Classical Prep lost against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Hurricanes, falling 3-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madelynn Zimmermn paced Classical Prep's offense, picking up eight kills. Zimmermn got some help from Anabel Christianson and her 11 assists. Brianna Behner controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Crista Panzner, who had 11 digs and ten aces. Panzner is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sabrina DeMarco, who had three digs and three aces.

Classical Prep now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Classical Prep has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Hudson on the 11th. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, they are taking a road trip to challenge Wiregrass Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
