Baseball Recap: Tornillo Takes a Loss

Tornillo lost against Fabens last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tornillo Coyotes came up short against the Fabens Wildcats, falling 16-2. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tornillo saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Varela, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Tornillo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Fabens, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Tornillo has already played their next game, a 7-3 victory against Austin on the 8th. As for Fabens, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-4 win against Hanks on the 7th.
