Volleyball Recap: Noble Street College Prep Extends Winning Streak to Four

Noble Street College Prep had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hansberry Bengals. The Golden Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bengals, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Noble Street College Prep took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10.

Aaron Gonzalez paced Noble Street College Prep's offense, picking up eight kills. Gonzalez got some help from Aaron Fernandez and his 21 assists. Gonzalez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Noble Street College Prep's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hansberry, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
