St. Xavier came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 46-30 victory over the Elder Panthers. The Bombers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Donovan Waleskowski was the offensive standout of the match as he posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Wassler, who earned nine points.

St. Xavier smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. They are 5-1 when they hit their own glass that hard.

St. Xavier has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Elder, they moved to 11-3 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

St. Xavier will take on La Salle at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. St. Xavier is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.3 points per game this season. As for Elder, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-44 win against Fairmont on the 25th.
