Duluth East came tearing into Thursday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Centennial Cougars as they made off with a 5-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Duluth East, who have now won 11 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Duluth East's win bumped their record up to 13-2-1. As for Centennial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

As of now, neither Duluth East nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
