They suffered a rough 16-3 defeat at the hands of the Desert Hills Thunder. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Cedar Valley has scored all season.

Ethan Johnson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-3 with a stolen base, two RBI, and a double.

Even though they lost, Cedar Valley hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That's the most strikeouts they've managed all season.

On Desert Hills' side, they got a great performance from Maddux MacIntosh as he tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (he also only allowed one walk).
