Volleyball Recap: Wheatmore Starts Season with Victory Against South Davidson

Wheatmore had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the South Davidson Wildcats 3-0 on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wheatmore took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, 25-14.

Coming up, Wheatmore will head out on the road to take on Asheboro at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Davidson, they will be playing at home against Albemarle at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
