Football Game Preview: Archer City Wildcats vs. Electra Tigers

The Archer City Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Electra Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Archer City has given up an average of 49.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Archer City lost 44-18 to Haskell on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Electra hadn't beaten Munday on the road since October 16, 2015 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 42-20 margin over the Moguls. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Moguls: they've now won three in a row.

Archer City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Electra, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Archer City against Electra when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 63-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
