Baseball Recap: St. Peter's Eagles vs. Salesian Eagles

In what's become a running theme this season, St. Peter gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Salesian Eagles a 10-0 shutout. The win was nothing new for St. Peter's as they're now sitting on seven straight.

St. Peter's got a great performance from John Caddell as he didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched.

At the plate, St. Peter's let Ty Mainolfi and Justin Levine loose on the outfield. Mainolfi scored four runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3, while Levine went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jack Kehoe, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

St. Peter's pushed their record up to 18-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Salesian, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
