Gig Harbor proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 22) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Capital 15-14.

Meanwhile, Sedro-Woolley strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Mountlake Terrace 28-7. The Cubs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Gig Harbor better focus on containing Kolyn Rochester and Nolan Roth as the pair were huge in Sedro-Woolley's win. Rochester rushed for 110 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries, while Roth gained 134 total yards. The dominant performance also gave Roth a new career-high in receiving yards (61).

Sedro-Woolley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 234 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 234 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.
