Volleyball Game Preview: PikeView Panthers vs. Greenbrier East Spartans + Official Tickets

PikeView is 0-10 against Greenbrier East since September of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, PikeView came up short against Wyoming East and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier East also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Cabell Midland by a score of 2-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Cabell Midland scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18.

PikeView's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Greenbrier East, their loss dropped their record down to 14-13-4.

PikeView couldn't quite get it done against Greenbrier East in their previous matchup back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
