Softball Recap: King Extends Winning Streak to Four

King waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 24-9 margin over the Renaissance Phoenix. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 20-2 victory the Phoenix walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

King's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Renaissance, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Renaissance has already played their next game (against Fordson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. King will be paying especially close attention to the Phoenix's contest: after the Phoenix face off against the Tractors, they'll take on King again at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
