Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wethersfield). They breezed by the Morrison Mustangs to the tune of 64-12 on Friday. The Flying Geese have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Wethersfield, bringing their record for this year to 8-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points per game. As for Morrison, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Coincidentally, Wethersfield and Morrison will both be playing Mercer County the next time they take the court. Wethersfield will head out to face Mercer County at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while Morrison will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
