Basketball Recap: Pawhuska Takes a Loss

Pawhuska was the 43-42 winner over Tulsa CHEF when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Pawhuska Huskies were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 41-40 to Tulsa CHEF. The Huskies' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jenson Snodgrass, who went 6 of 13 en route to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Lane Kyler, who posted nine points and seven boards.

Pawhuska's record is now 1-4. As for Tulsa CHEF, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Pawhuska will take on Okay in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tulsa CHEF, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mingo Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 21, 2025.
