Viewmont typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Roy proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Viewmont Vikings. That's more bragging rights for Roy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Parker Skidmore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
