Softball Recap: Western Warriors vs. Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Moapa Valley, Western was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights 18-17. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Western got a massive performance out of Olysia Ortiz, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Natalie Tapia, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
