Mater Academy East Las Vegas didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jessica Cooper. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in defended passes (four).

Mater Academy East Las Vegas will have to keep a close watch on Milani Bonds and Calie Greene, a pair of players who had a big impact on Western's prior game. Bonds gained 170 total yards and a touchdown, while Greene threw for 315 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per attempt.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.7 points per game. As for Western, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
